The United States Green Building Council has recognized the importance of sustainable building by developing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
Many construction products contribute considerably to the sustainable building movement. Increasing numbers of design and construction Industry leaders including Castagna Consulting Group are designing LEED-qualified buildings and looking for construction products and systems that can help them gain higher levels of certification.
